"A Fair to Remember"
5465 County Highway N; Florence, WI
Featured Entertainment at the 2011 Florence County Fair
The Bassmeister
Featuring “Fishing for Laughs” with the Bassmeister

“Fishing for Laughs” is a different type of comedy entertainment show. In his
show, the Bassmeister teaches basic fishing skills and water safety, and he
provides a variety of entertainment options including audience participation,
ventriloquism, clean humor, puppetry and illusions.

This will be the second time the Bassmeister has been featured at the Florence County Fair. He
was at the fair in 2009, but unfortunately not many people had the opportunity to
see his show due to the heavy rains on Friday and Saturday.

Fishing for Laughs has performances scheduled all three days of the fair. See
the complete fair schedule for the exact times of this show. The Bassmeister will
also be featured during intermission of the Little King and Queen Contest on
                       Saturday.

For more information on the Bassmeister, you can visit his website
                       at www.thebassmeister.com.

Draft Horse Pull
Friday Night Draft Horse Pull Changes Date
The long-time favorite Florence County Fair Draft Horse Pull is
changing dates. For years, the Pull has been held on Friday night
of the Fair, and it has often had to compete with High School
football games as well as other horse pulls.

Beginning this year, the Draft Horse Pull will be held at 3 p.m. on
Sunday afternoon. This will allow more competitors to enter the
Pull. In addition to moving the date of the pull, the fair board has done research and work this spring to improve the quality of the arena for the track on which the horses pull.

The goal of all the changes is to create a better show for the competitors and spectators.
