Florence County Fairest of the Fair
The Fairest of the Fair program is a volunteer service scholarship program. Upon being named the 2018 Fairest of the Fair, you will be asked to volunteer to help the Florence County Fair serving as a public figure (with a crown/tiara and sash) at various community events throughout the months of June, July and August and the fair itself.

As fairest, you will be talking to people of all ages and inviting them to the fair. You will also have the
opportunity to take part in radio and tv interviews as well. Most fairest of the fair   contestants also have regular summer jobs, so after you are selected we will sit down and figure out a schedule that will work for you. Sometimes, we run into a conflict with the fair and when school begins again in the fall. We are willing to work out the details with that for you as well.

Upon completion of your “term” as Fairest, you will be given a $200 scholarship to be used as you see fit. In addition, you may have the opportunity to compete in the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs Competition, which is held in January in Wisconsin Dells.
