Adult Coloring Contest
Florence County Fair Special Exhibit Contests
The Florence County Fair has a tradition of showcasing work by Florence County residents. In 2016, we are jumping on the adult coloring bandwagon, and we have decided to offer another opportunity for this kind of participation. We are holding a coloring contest with the picture on the page below.

There is no age requirement for this contest. It is considered an adult coloring contest due to the fact that the picture is more complex than a standard coloring page, and it is similar to those pictures included in adult coloring books. Pictures will be judged and prizes (including coloring supplies) will be awarded for first, second and third place pictures. This contest is open to everyone inside and outside of Florence County.

In order to participate, color the picture and then mail it to the Florence County Fair; P.O. Box 704; Florence, WI 54121. All entries must be mailed by August 12, 2016. Make sure you write your name and phone number on the back of the picture...winners will be announced at the fair and notified by phone after the fair. Winners need not be present to win.

This coloring contest picture was also in the Fair Newsletter mailed to everyone in Florence County. You may use either picture to enter the contest. And you may print the picture from the file to the right. If you need additional paper copies, please call the fair 906-282-9153 or e-mail florencecountyfair@hotmail.com and tell us how many copies are needed.

The Florence County Fair serves as a showcase to highlight the many and varied talents of Florence County residents.  One of the ways to do this is by making entries that can be put on display at the Florence County Fair.

All of the Special Exhibit Contests listed on this page are open to Florence County Residents as well as those outside of Florence County.  These are different than traditional exhibits entered in the fair.

Click on the file provided by each of the contests to get a printable version of the contest rules and regulations.

Items created for these contests have no preregistration requirement, and there is no cost to enter any of these contests.  All items must be brought to the Exhibit Building at the Florence County Fair Park on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 between 3 and 7 p.m. or on Thursday, August 25, 2016 between 9 a.m. and noon.  Please note that the timeline for these exhibits to be brought to the fair is different that the traditional exhibits listed under the "Exhibiting 101" page.
